Thought it might be interesting to see the Arlo Security Camera in action on July 1, 2021 starting at 2:45 AM.
The Tracy Police will be given this link in case it might help any investigations they may be working on.
If anyone has great video processing tools / skills and wants to help ID these people or see a license plate….thank you in advance! 🙂
2:45 AM: Driving by our house and backing up when they see my “old faithful” 1999 Honda Accord
2:46 AM: Getting the jack in place and jacking up my Honda
2:47 AM: Finish jacking up the car and now taking off the catalytic converter.
2:47 AM: Bad guy standing watch for the cops or neighbors….or ME!
2:48 AM: Job well done! Hard working dudes leaving the scene.

The yellow cut is towards the front of the car, the green cuts are the oxygen sensors and whatever other sensors there are, the purple cut is towards the back (but really in the middle) of the car.
New Aftermarket Catalytic Converter (installed July 8, 2021)
The new aftermarket catalytic converter has a 5 year warranty, soooooo “old faithful” will be mine a bit longer. 🙂
Conclusion
The Arlo security cameras work pretty well…and, after I changed my settings to 21 seconds, it actually catches stuff it used to miss.
I suppose a high resolution Arlo camera set-up is in our future plans! Can we say 8k? 🙂
